KindLine (Advice)

We offer immediate, practical support through our telephone-based service, addressing critical needs like finance/benefits, housing support, and emergency food/energy provision. Our “Orange Pages” resource directory connects individuals with specialist services and community resources for enhanced wellbeing.

KindLine (Confidence and Connection Coaching)

We go beyond simple conversation with our “befriending with purpose” programme. We empower individuals to set and achieve goals, nurturing confidence to reconnect with their communities and participate in our group provisions.

Brew Crew

A community-powered initiative tackling loneliness, one cuppa at a time. We partner with local cafés to create safe, welcoming spaces where people can drop in for a chat and feel part of something. Participating venues display an orange heart sticker in their window to show they’re part of Brew Crew and that anyone wearing an orange heart pin is open to conversation. Find your nearest Brew Crew cafe.

Brew Club

Friendly meet-ups at Brew Crew cafes with a host and dedicated table. A great way to build confidence in social settings. Find your nearest Brew Club cafe.

Recovering Homes

A Specialist Service

Recovering Homes is a specialist service that works solely with people who are living with hoarding behaviour, now recognised by the NHS and globally as a mental health disorder (Hoarding Disorder). There is no other service locally providing support for this community.

Hoarding can be a lifelong pattern of behaviour and is often hidden behind closed doors and shrouded in shame and humiliation.

Hoarding Support

Our work with people who hoard helps to create transformative change by therapeutically supporting them to manage their acquiring behaviours and enabling them to make decisions on relinquishing items. Hoarding behaviours become well embedded, and support requires a careful approach. It’s therefore essential to build up a relationship of trust and rapport in a non-threatening, person-centred way to achieve change going forward. Real change is achievable in the long term if the right approach is used, keeping the adult at the heart of the process, which is the approach Reaching takes.
